Effective Shot Process
For me to achieve effective shots I took a range of shots than sorted through them, in multiple poses and positions to possible capture the perfect image that I will eventually use for my poster or for my draft photos. I also made sure that I used various angles to achieve a good variety of photos for selection so that we could choose later on.
All of the shots were either mid and long shots because this is a common shot that is used in most posters that you find. I also used a variety of shot types including, a low shot, mid shot, long shot and possibly a close mid-shot. I completed these shots by moving with the camera and achieving good angles.
For all of the shots that decided to use for my final product, I made sure that the lighting was the same for all of the photos to create a equal lighting but with different poses. The lighting that we used as well was high key lighting to make sure that there weren't too many shadows covering the subject with lowkey lighting and will overall give a higher quality photo.
When it came to props I didn't use any due to the fact that my character dint need one, apart from one prop that could've been used is the face mask that jack (the subject) was wearing but you can't actually see him wear it due to the fact that one of the paper tears is covering his face.

Production process
I started by making a canvas that is 15x20 then I imported my background which is a crumpled paper background to give a literal poster effect.
I then cut out and added my image to the background and made sure to centre him so that it is obvious that he is the subject of the photo. I didn't make any changes to the original photo so I just could add him in right away. To cut him out of the background I used the quick selection tool followed by a layer and mask.
After I had added the subject I then added a distorted crumpled effect over the front of the poster to give the overall combination of the final poster a worn and used effect because I think that it would look better than for it to be plain.
Then you find a torn paper effect on a copyright website and duplicate it to make three of them. Use the quick selection tool to cut out everything but the tears. Once edited out you need to erase the background which gives the tears windows to the background.
Once you have edited the tears you need to find three copyright free images from one of these countries: London, Rio, Toronto, New York or California, and edit it into the background to give the result above, I have used, London, Rio and New York.
After you have added the cities in the background you need to add a credit block, and two possibly one age ratings depending on what age rating you want it to be in each corner of the poster.
After you have added the credits you need to add 6 pieces of tape and put them sideways overall 3 images. You can find some tape pictures that are copyright free and edit them out of the background whilst turning down the opacity to make the tape look more like tape.
Once the tapes finished you can add the title in any font you like but if you want to use the same font as me you can go to Dafonts website and search 'Finished Symphony' for the font
